This special edition WLP BlogTalkRadio Show is part of the WLP’s Fourmile Benefit Project, a year of workshops, shows & events all benefiting the Fourmile Canyon Fire Victims.

The Future of the Enviornment and Food with WLP’s Living Legacy Ben Murray

WLP Collaborate and Accelerate Event 2009

Earlier this summer you first heard just a little about Living Legacy Ben Murray who attended our WLP Collaborate and Accelerate event! Since that time Mr. Murray has been very busy as he prepares to take his efforts in the Environment and Eco Development Cornerstone to the next level!

Ben has spent the majority of the last year on his eco community project “Eco-Aldaya Caimito” in Caimito, Ecuador. There he’s worked with his partner Tanya Di Benadito to restore original forestation, create a permacuture training center and working with locals to help them become more sustainable. Mr. Murray states, “It has certainly been more than a one directional experience and that they have learned much about life, the land and the connected human experience.” “That they’ve learned as much as they’ve come to teach.”

Ben and his partner have been able to help the local women expand their community kitchen and learn how to utilize the local banking model set up by a Peace Corps volunteer that has allowed everyone involved to work together for mutual benefit. Ecuador is rich in a vast variety of fruits not well known in many other countries that are not conducive to export, however Ms. Di Benadito has taught the local women there how to make jellies, jams, chutneys, etc, which are! In fact, there are hopes to be able to carry some of these gourmet treats in the WLP World Market in 2010.

Additionally, Ben has been very busy stateside, with additional training and working with community farms and early permaculture models in N. California. Literally, going from the WLP summer event to The Carbon Farming Course Series, a 6 week training at the The Farm – Eco Village Training Center in Summertown, TN. The series was designed by graduates from Gaia University, in conjunction with leading edge innovators in the Permaculture movement, Appleseed Permaculture, Regenerative Design Institute and Hodgepodge Collective.

Although he found all the information and the experts there to surpass his expectations, he was significantly impressed with the results of “rotation grazing” and it’s benefit to the entire environment and food chain cycle. Using very specific grazing techniques with cattle, pigs and chickens they were able to create up to four to five inches of new live top soil while providing to the market organic meat and poultry.

Ben’s love affair with the earth began in his early teens when he became passionate about how the land and particularly water interacted and affected each other. He began experimenting in his own back yard in Boulder, CO creating swails and observing how more natural directed rainfall effected the immediate environment. It became clear to him this would be a life long pursuit and his legacy has only just begun!

Mr. Murray will be a guest on the WLP’s BlogTalkRadio show on November 16, 2009, where he will be discussing the basic understanding of leading edge solutions for the future of food. He will be talking about the meaning of terms such as permaculture, food forests, carbon farming and rotation grazing and giving simple tips for how anyone can improve their personal legacy in these areas!

Bright Ideas Trust – Funding and Support for 16-30 Year Old Entreprenuers

Are you just starting out in life with a “brilliant” idea?

Do you have a child, friend, niece, nephew that has what it takes and they just need a place to begin?

Bright Ideas Trust (BIT) is a non-profit registered charity which takes a new and innovative approach to helping young people start up and build their own business.

BIT provides a package of business support and funding to 16-30 year olds who have the ambition to start their own business and are currently Not in Employment, Education or Training (NEET) or from socially excluded groups.

It provides these very difficult to reach groups with the opportunity and critical tools needed to create and develop a new business. These are:

• Investment Readiness – advice and guidance on turning their business idea into a realistic and viable commercial business with a strong business proposition and financial forecast;

• Mentoring – a dedicated entrepreneurial Mentor who has successfully built their own business and who has committed to nurturing the investee. BIT Mentors have a strong desire to pass on their real world business experience to the next generation and can also introduce investees to their networks and contacts as potential customers. They give their time on a voluntary basis;

• Expert Business Support – a pool of specialist business advisors in areas such as accountancy, law and marketing. These experts are typically employees of BIT’s corporate partners who volunteer their time as part of the employee engagement element of their company’s corporate social responsibility programme;

• Funding – initial capital of up to £25,000, which is a realistic sum to enable a venture to get going and higher than most other organisations in this field. BIT raises funds from established businesses, such as Bank of America and Accenture, through their charitable donations.

Whilst it has charitable objectives, striving to promote business as an engine for public good, wealth creation and social improvement, BIT does not, unlike most business support organisations, give away hand outs or grants. Rather, it uses a commercial venture capital approach to its investments taking small equity stakes in the business and/or providing commercial loans at competitive interest rates.

It requires that the investee gives back–to BIT through loan repayments and/ or sale proceeds from a future exit from their business, and to the next generation of BIT investees by passing on their own experience and knowledge. BIT takes this approach to teach its beneficiaries how business works in the real world so that they are better prepared to succeed in the future, even if they do not necessarily succeed first time.

BIT aims to exit from each of its beneficiary businesses within 5 years and to reinvest all of its returns, be they loan repayments or sale proceeds, into the next generation of ventures. By doing this it aims to become self sufficient and to detach itself from the need to raise donations or seek government funding, a task which takes up much of a traditional charity and business support organisations time and resources. Whilst BIT seeks to make a multiple on investments, this is not a primary objective.

Like a cluster of pleated, venetian blind-esque volcanoes, this new convention center in Taiwan has “skin” that will naturally ventilate the structure and generate energy from solar power. Beijing-based MAD Architects recently designed the Taichung Convention Center as a commission by the Taiwanese government. The center is intended to become a new local landmark and help redefine the cultural landscape of the city, while also drawing attention to sustainable development and growth.

The folded solar eco-skin of the building serves two purposes – first, the envelopes provide natural air flow to the interior to minimize air conditioning. Second, the pleatings also utilize a “double photovoltaic glass,” which will help reduce energy consumption. One side of the pleat is a transparent material that lets light into the interior, providing plentiful natural daylight, while the other side of the pleat is solid.

Built according to existing site topography, the structure of the center further accentuates what was already there. The moutainous forms resemble craters and are anywhere from 39-85 meters in height. Outdoor courtyards and balconies dot the architectural form to create a more organic landscape. In total, the building area is over 216,000 square meters (+ 2.3 million sq ft) and will have various uses including entertainment, retail, convention space, offices and parking. The inside of the convention center is filled with light and will hopefully be all it claims to be in terms of sustainability.

After some 20 years of tireless dedication to his in depth research on
unification, Nassim Haramein’s most recent scientific paper, “The Schwarzschild

9th International Conference CASYS’09 (Computing Anticipatory Systems).

Chosen by a panel of 13 peer reviewers, the paper won the prestigious “Best
Paper Award” in the field of “Physics, Quantum Mechanics, Relativity, Field
Theory, and Gravitation.” This significant paper marks a new paradigm in the
world of quantum theory, as it describes the nuclei of an atom as a mini black

On the heels of the August WLP Collaborate and Accelerate Weekend, “Living Legacy” Malcolm Watson took members of his family down to WLP’s “What’s Next” Company, HealthWalk. Mr. Watson met the Founder of HealthWalk at the weekend event which is designed to create an collaboration between the WLP’s Legacy Showcase Spotlight people, projects and products. We got to visit with Mr. Watson on his return and indeed he was full of energy and visibly brighter. Here is his personal account of his HealthWalk experience!

Last week my family and I had the amazing experience of visiting HealthWalk, a cutting edge wellness and health care clinic in Carlsbad California. What an amazing experience it was too. We spent three intense and busy days engaged in a number of different modalities.

We started out with blood work and nutritional modalities. Then we went to brain scans followed with sound and light frequency sessions to integrate the different parts of our brains, and Harmonic Resonance therapy.

Sounds pretty far out. And it was!

Before I go any further I want to share some of the immediately noticeable results. My mind and space is way quieter. There is considerably less mental chatter. Most immediately noticeable was my response to situations that before would trigger me or upset me for many hours, sometimes a day or two. But oh what joy, I was on top of the upset in minutes. Other situations that would have bothered me before have not even disturbed me at all.

I was very stressed when I first arrived at HealthWalk. I walked out three days later feeling calm, relaxed and bright. And a week later back in my home and work environment I am still feeling this sense of peace and calm in my world. Along with this is a greater feeling of connectedness to the world.

An interesting new awareness is that I am now conscious of my brain inside my head. It might sound a bit strange. But, I now have a sense of the energy flows inside my brain. Some of these feelings are quite subtle. But, the reduction of stress and peacefulness that I am now experiencing is very definitive.

Some of the above state was achieved through the HealthWalk’s MindSoul Brain Technologies and Harmonic Therapy. However, I also walked away with a great deal of new knowledge as to what is really going on in my body with the physical analysis they did, which really feels great. Then there is complete, highly tailored and individualized, nutritional and supplement program that I have been implementing for only 24 hours so far. I am most surprised to already notice a significant increase in energy and vitality in my body.

I would like to share some more details of the technologies being used at HealthWalk. Even the blood work is done using the only RTM dark field microscope in public use in the world and can magnify the blood up to 30,000 times.

I learned so much from Dr Anna as we watched my blood corpuscles swimming around on the screen. We could track and see so a great deal of information, such as free radical damage and the complete health and operational level of each separate corpuscle.

Then there was the Galvanic Skin Response, a technology that produces a stress profile through a huge analysis of personal responses to food, environmental, chemical, viral, bacterial, and fungal stressors.

The specialists all work in strong communication with each other using their leading edge analysis tools to come up with the most appropriate protocols and solutions to enhance my health.

Then the real sci-fi came into play as Dr. D. Dennis Maness, hooked electrodes to my ears forehead and skull. There on the screen I could see the different levels of activity in various parts of brain. Wow!!

After viewing and analyzing the brain scans, Dennis wrote a specific protocol of sound and light frequencies to correct and enhance the functioning of all the different brain lobes. These signals were then fed in to me through earphones and computer screens. It was eerie and exciting to see the changes in the different brain lobes when doing follow up scans.

It was little disturbing at times as I was asked to repeat more complex number combination and saw black areas appearing in the scan as I made mistakes. But, we got it all fixed. So it all ended up great. In fact it was better than great.

I also experienced Harmonic Therapy at the hands of Don Estes. More Sci-fi indeed. After taking a voice print from me, he fed this into a supercomputer biofeedback system. From this he isolated my particular natural resonance. This was then fed back into my body as I lay on a liquid crystal bed through transducers in the liquid, another on my chest, earphones, and a visual display. I could hear and feel the sounds and frequencies inside my body. At one point I could feel my Kidneys vibrating intensely as the harmonics resonated through me.

The results?

I feel more me. I can feel my strength and personal power more clearly and strongly. Strange things to write perhaps after a visit to a “health care clinic” What magic indeed, and a great start to some real Wellness of Soul Mind and Body.
